She completed her graduation and post-graduation from TN Medical College, Mumbai, obtaining the MBBS, MD (Chest Medicine & TB) and DNB (Respiratory Medicine) degrees.

Dr. Deepali Kamdar was the first to start sleep clinics and polysomnography (sleep study) in Gujarat in 2003. Besides routine adult respiratory practice, she has a keen interest in paediatric respiratory diseases. A considerable number of paediatric patients visit the OPD at Jaydeep Hospital.
Dr. Deepali Kamdar has conducted many national and international clinical research trials in the field of Respiratory Medicine. Her main areas of clinical interest are sleep medicine, paediatric respiratory diseases, interventional bronchoscopy, pleuroscopy, asthma, COPD, ILD, multi-drug-resistant (MDR) TB and extensively-drug-resistant (XDR) TB.
